Rooted in a deep commitment to equity and access, our Thrive Outdoors Youth Adventure Club seeks to bridge the gap between urban life and the great outdoors. We offer transformative experiences in the Outdoors that our youth wouldn’t normally have access to.
As members of the 10Four Youth Outdoors Club, youth are welcomed into a group of young folks united by a shared passion for adventure and discovery. From the tranquility of camping under the stars to rock climbing, our club offers a diverse array of outdoor activities designed to ignite curiosity, build confidence, and foster a love for nature. Whether it’s navigating winding trails on a bike ride, casting lines into lakes, or gliding through pristine waters on kayaks, every outing promises a thrilling blend of excitement and education.
But beyond the rush of adrenaline, the 10Four Youth Outdoors Club is a place of learning and growth. Through hands-on experiences and interactive workshops, youth are empowered to become stewards of the environment, learning about the delicate balance of ecosystems and the importance of conservation efforts. Gardening lessons offer a chance to cultivate green thumbs and nurture connections to the earth, while field trips to local parks and national reserves provide immersive opportunities to witness the wonders of biodiversity up close.
At the heart of our mission lies a steadfast commitment to inclusivity and accessibility. Recognizing that financial constraints and logistical barriers can limit access to outdoor experiences, we work tirelessly to ensure that every young person, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to connect with nature and reap the benefits of outdoor exploration. Scholarships, transportation assistance, and outreach programs are just a few of the ways we strive to make the joys of the outdoors accessible to all.
In the 10Four Youth Outdoors Club, adventure knows no bounds. As youth navigate winding trails, scale towering peaks, and paddle through serene waters, they discover not only the beauty of the natural world but also the depths of their own resilience and potential. Through shared experiences and lasting friendships, they forge connections that transcend geographic boundaries, leaving indelible footprints on the landscapes of their lives. With each outing, they emerge not only as adventurers but as ambassadors of change, poised to protect and preserve the wonders of our planet for generations to come.
